In creating Simply Thai at The Watermark the objective was to deliver everything a discerning diner would wish for. We invite our guests to see if we’ve accomplished that.
The restaurant sits by the river Darent in Eynsford, one of Kent’s prettiest villages surrounded by stunning countryside. While feeling miles away from city life, it’s less than half an hour’s drive from
South London.
The food is exemplary, using the freshest locally-produced ingredients. As an independent restaurant, The Watermark is free to source quality produce from the best suppliers. Fresh fish and seafood come direct from Billingsgate. Meat is provided by Williamson’s of Sevenoaks – who pride themselves on selling only local meat, much of it from their own farm. Ice cream in our select range of desserts is supplied by Solley’s Dairy Farm in Deal.
The wines, including fine wine and Champagne, are hand selected with an emphasis placed on complementing the menu’s Thai flavours.
The service is attentive yet non-intrusive, with the guests’ comfort and enjoyment being paramount. The décor in this intimate restaurant is chic and contemporary with a sensitive lighting scheme.
